This older Genesys is much roomier and lighter than the newer models. The plastic is harder and more rigid in newer Genesys. I'd recommend the new Genesys soul plates over the old, which you need to shave away some plastic on the boot to fit them on the old Genesys, I did that to one of these skates. The liners in these are a little big for the shells unfortunately.

genesis have been my trusty all time favorite skates for many years. you're very fortunate to still kill with those reigns . makes you feel like you're back in high school, skipping school to skate with the homeboys.

Those are so amazing, do they skate the same as newer genesys'?
