Certainly, a large a little more plate might be better. However, it is quite unquestionable for skating. The condition is good.

hey man i got afew questions about your set up, first of all when you skate em do you feel really high off the ground at all? also i was wondering if you like grinded anything down on the skate so the soulplate would fit, or did you just slap it right on there, also does it add any noticable wieght to the skate when skating?

Hey kurt, I've done a mod similar to this, but I sanded down the Carbon soul plates some. It does add extra height and weight.
The worst problem is that if you do not screw the Carbon plates to the bottom of the K2 souls on the toe and heel areas of the souls (not the negative), then there is a noticeable twisting motion going on with the boot and soul plates trying to separate when doing grinds.
It makes the skate very unstable and can cause you to injure yourself, especially knees and ankles.
