why do the shells look so big? or the frames so small? the elements have been huge, and usually look oversized for most skates. or are these SL boots really that big?

Those are so awesome. Sometimes those oldschool skates are 10x more fun to ride than the modern, 20 inch souled blade McChunks you buy nowadays.
